For my dad’s birthday, we decided to cross another Major League Baseball stadium off his bucket list: Coors Field in Denver!
We attended not one, but two games at Coors Field, and there were a ton of events and activities planned to celebrate Tod Helton being inducted into the Hall of Fame. The stadium tour was fascinating, offering us a behind-the-scenes look at the ballpark.
But our trip wasn’t just about baseball. We took a drive down to Colorado Springs and spent a day at the breathtaking Garden of the Gods (or was it Rancho Cordova…? IYKYK, haha!) Walking among the red rock formations is so incredible, and the natural beauty left us in awe. We then took a short drive over to Manitou Springs to enjoy the Penny arcade, where I managed to hit the jackpot on one of my favorite games!
On our final day, we slowed down the pace with a peaceful stroll through the Denver Botanical Gardens. The lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and tranquil ponds were the perfect way to unwind and reflect on our trip.
This birthday trip was more than just a quick getaway; it was all about fun, new experiences, and making some great memories. Denver, with its cool mix of city vibes and natural beauty, turned out to be the perfect spot for our family adventure. My dad’s already excited about checking off the next stadium on his list!
