If you’re looking for a sweet little escape from the city without actually leaving the city, let me introduce you to Soil Born Farms in Rancho Cordova. This place is a total hidden gem — part urban farm, part community hub, and 100% good vibes.
I visited on a sunny Saturday morning for their outdoor yoga session, and let me tell you… chef’s kiss. The class was laid-back and welcoming, perfect for all levels (I’m very much a “slow flow and child’s pose” kind of gal). It honestly felt like a moving meditation and a much-needed reset for my brain.
After yoga, we enjoyed a farm-to-fork breakfast made with ingredients grown right there on the farm. We had amazing pancakes and a delicious fritatta! Everything was so simple but bursting with flavor.
Soil Born Farms isn’t just a farm — they host workshops, cooking classes, seasonal events, and have a farmstand where you can shop for organic produce and handmade goodies. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, breathe deeper, and maybe even grow your own herbs (or at least think about it).
If you haven’t checked it out yet, add it to your list! Whether you’re into wellness, local food, or just want a peaceful morning in nature, Soil Born Farms has something for you. 🌻✨
