Vegas, baby!

Laying in bed as I type this, in full recovery mode from the last 36 hours! Thought I would get this blog post up now before this next week slips away and I forget!

We had a blast in Vegas this weekend and took full advantage of the short amount of time we had to see the sites and get some basic b*tch Instagram content, because duh.

We landed in Vegas at 10 pm and rushed over to our hotel to get ready for a night out! We stayed at Bally’s Las Vegas and it was perfect! It was centrally located to everything and not to mention the view we lucked out with was pretty perfect. We had a full view of the Paris Hotel and it also overlooked the Bellagio Fountains! Not too shabby!

I loved my dress I wore on our first night. I have been holding on to this dress for months just for this trip. My partner-in-crime, Diana, found the dress while we were shopping at Freestyle Clothing Exchange and basically gave me no choice but to purchase it, which, how could I not. It’s a dress from Bebe that was $150(ish) and it was brand-spanking-new with the tags still on! I bought it for $15!!

These heels on the other hand.. my feet are going to need some serious TLC after this trip. New plan for the next time I am in Vegas : fancy flats. Comfort > everything else. #thisis30

Night one got off to a slow start just because we were running late and had to wait in line due to Omnia being at capacity but once we were in, we had a few drinks and got some dancing in!

Saturday morning, it was a true miracle, after about 4 hours of sleep we made it to the Neon Museum!  We really enjoyed this! The tour guide was super nice and informative and it’s perfect for a photo opp! It was so cool seeing all of the vintage Vegas signs, too!

This weekend was also the weekend to be in Vegas apparently! Ran into a few familiar faces which is  always fun!

After a quick trip to the Neon Museum, we raced back to the hotel to get read for the Encore Beach Clubpool party! We met up with a group of friends and had some fun in the sun! Yes, we got in the pool, yes it was a questionable decision, haha! I had a blast at the pool party! David Guetta was performing which was super cool to see!

After making it back to the hotel and a pretty epic 3 hour nap, we got our lives together and went outside for a walk along the strip and to see the Bellagio Fountains!

On the way back we made a pit stop at Dirt Dog and got some yummy (not at all healthy) eats, which I got zero photos of because I devoured it in two seconds. Check out their Instagram to see why they’re so popular! I had the “Filthy Fries.”

And finally.. after a somewhat full night’s rest, 7 am came around and we got up to get a few more steps in around the strip and to get some photos.

2 thumbs up for surviving Vegas, for no hangovers, & lots of fun with my homie, D!

Until next time!!

Have you been to Vegas? What’s. your favorite part? Would love to hear from you!!

Xoxo, M
